Ruth & Hussam's Honeymoon
Hi Everyone!
2022 is a big year for us, and we’re delighted to be sharing it with you all. The wedding plans are very much coming together and we can’t wait to celebrate with the people closest to us.
We met almost four years ago on a beautiful Oxfordshire day, and clicked from day one (Hussam had to fork out for both lunch and dinner that day!). We’ve had lots of adventures, big and small, since then – from walks by the Thames to snorkelling in the Red Sea.
On one such adventure last year, sweaty and exhausted after lots of walking in Dartmoor, we got finally engaged. We’ve been planning our wedding since, and are excited by what’s to come!
The most special part of our celebrations will be the people around us, and we can’t wait to make memories with you – memories that will last a lifetime. We also can’t wait to see your best dance moves, so you’d better get practicing!
While your attendance is the best gift we could ask for, we have already had people asking about what we’d like to help us start married life together (despite our efforts to convince you that being there is enough!).

With this in mind, we should say that we’re lucky enough to have accumulated all the material things we need over the last few years. So for those of you wanting to help us (and please don’t feel you have to), a contribution to our honeymoon would go a long way to making 2022 extra-special. Sally at Great Experience Travel has been brilliant in arranging this for us, and is co-ordinating contributions.
Our plan is to fly to California and do the road trip of a lifetime. We’ll begin our journey in Las Vegas, before travelling to the amazing Death Valley and Yosemite National Parks. After a couple of nights in San Francisco, we’ll drive down the incredible West coast to Los Angeles – with a few stops along the way. We hope this will be a special trip, to cap off a special year.
